In appraising an item, our goal is to make sure that no client ever pays too much or sells too low. The same applies in how we manage and conduct household sales.

Ask any estate sale shopper and they’ll tell you “they’re looking for a bargain”—the kind you see on Antiques Roadshow. And by that they mean a diamond in the rough—a valuable treasure overlooked by the estate owner or household sale company that can be bought for a song and resold at  a premium price. The person who buys such an item may go home with a valuable find, but the owner of the item ultimately suffers the greatest loss.
